2024  Industry Awards

We're celebrating the skills of the professional school photographers from across the nation, with finalists and grand champions in 15 different categories.

This award is intended for an up-and-coming professional, age 30 or younger, who you can tell is already going places. They have demonstrated strong leadership qualities, special creativity or ability, and evidence of a promising future in this field of work.

This award goes to the SPOA member who sets their own agenda aside to help fellow photography companies. This is for the person you think embodies servant leadership.

Amazing yearbooks come from hard work, dedication, school, student and parent involvement, administrative support, great company representatives and trainers, school tradition, outstanding company support and overall teamwork. SPOA looks to recognize the best of the best books and teams.

School photography has over a century of history, and we know a lot has changed in that time. Who was the first to invent a certain camera technique, a genius marketing strategy, or a new software innovation? We want to celebrate these pioneers, whether they are someone who lived and trailblazed a hundred years ago or someone still changing the field today.

School photography has been a great tradition in US schools for over 100 years. Through its annual Hall of Fame, SPOA will be honoring artists, inventors, and other visionaries who have been instrumental in advancing this tradition.
