School Photographers of America (SPOA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educate, advocate, promote, protect and preserve the great traditions of school photography and yearbooks. School photography has been a staple for schools and parents across the United States for generations. School pictures are used daily for student safety through products like ID Cards, safety cards, digital directories, and urgent safety initiatives like Amber Alerts. In addition, other industries rely on school photography for the creation of their products such as yearbooks, administration software, online learning, and many more. School photography plays an integral part in all U.S. public and private schools.


School Photographers of America is the national trade association for school photography and yearbooks.


Position Summary

The Executive Director serves both the Governing Board and the Executive Board. The Executive Director champions SPOA's mission, vision, drives results, and propels the Association forward. The Executive Director stewards its resources and provides accountability for SPOA to its diverse constituents.
